Hollywood Hotel
A documentary that offers an insight into the lives of the residents who call Hollywood hotel home.
Once a silver service establishment Hollywood Hotel has approximately seventy residents. Gone are the waiters and silver service. In place is a strong sense of community complete with the constant struggle for survival. These are people living on the fringe of society - the elderly, the unemployed, the de-institutionalised - who rely heavily on their fortnightly pension. The film focuses on the lives of four individuals set against the backdrop of pre-pension and pension day.
