Tony Wright

Managing Director

Tony has worked with the commercial networks, the ABC and SBS in Australia, as well as the BBC and Nickelodeon in the UK and other European broadcasters. Tony brings extensive experience in factual, drama and children's financing and production.

Stephen Amezdroz

Executive Producer

Stephen joined December Films in 2003, after working for over 10 years with Beyond International. His background in high-end documentary series and adult drama makes him a perfect addition to the December team. His long experience and understanding of the international marketplace make him key to the project-financing role within the company.

Bryce Menzies

Company director & lawyer

Company director & lawyer Bryce is currently practicing as an Entertainment, Media, Arts, Copyright and Defamation lawyer. It is this background that adds another strand of invaluable expertise to the team. Bryce has been involved with some of Australia's best known and successful feature and documentary films as Executive Producer, Producer, Associate Producer and Legal Adviser. He is currently practicing as an Entertainment, Media, Arts, Copyright and Defamation lawyer.

Tarni James

Head of Series Production

Tarni joined December Films after establishing and running the creative development department of FremantleMedia Australia. She has 30 years experience in the media working for all Australian television networks and overseas. She first worked as a radio journalist and newsreader before moving into television production. Tarni has produced programs across many genres including children's (Channel 9, BBC) news and current affairs (Channel 10), comedy (Comedy Channel, 7, SBS), live variety (Channel 7, ABC), documentary (ABC) and sport (Radio).

Penny Robins

Executive Producer

Penny has recently left Screen Australia, (formerly Film Australia) where she worked for six years as an executive producer producing a slate of material for broadcast and online. She is currently working with December Films on their development slate and is on short-term contract as development producer with ABC TV Documentaries. Penny's Film Australia executive producer credits include a range of significant specialist factual single hours and series working with some of Australia’s most distinguished producers and directors. Her program genres as executive producer have encompassed specialist factual, dramatised documentary, natural history and contemporary observation. Her programs have been critically acclaimed as well as attracting record TV audiences.
